Kenneth Laks CPA | Partner

Kenneth Laks, CPA is a Partner at WFFA Advisors, LLC, based in the firm’s Floral Park office, with over 28 years of experience in public accounting.

Ken has extensive experience advising clients on the tax aspects of pass-through entities and deep expertise in international taxation. In addition to his broad tax and general accounting knowledge, his areas of focus include expatriate taxation, controlled foreign corporation (CFC) matters—such as Subpart F and GILTI—and the interpretation and application of international tax treaties. He works with clients across a wide range of industries, including engineering, manufacturing and wholesale distribution, real estate, and software and technology companies.

Ken is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Queens College (CUNY) and a Master of Science in Taxation from Baruch College (CUNY).

Ken is the past President of the Suffolk Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He served on the chapter’s executive board for ten years and has been an active member of the General Taxation Committee. Ken is a frequent presenter on tax topics and has published articles in The CPA Journal.
